Chile Industry Training
2013-2017
The Chile-New Zealand industry training project goal was to improve skills and knowledge of small farmers and the agricultural workforce growing productivity within the Chilean agriculture sector.
The project consisted of two main activities:

An industry training component centred on working with SENCE, a part of the Ministry of Labour to develop and implement a pilot vocational training programme in the dairy and horticulture sectors

A small farmer support programme working with INDAP, the agriculture development arm of the Ministry of Agriculture to improve productivity of small farmers in the sheep and dairy industries
The work included capacity building for agricultural advisers in INDAP in technical farm management topics and extension
